Nugget 16 – Snipping Tool

We often need to capture something on our screen for later use or to use in another document.
We used to have to “Print Screen” or “Alt-Print Screen” to capture the screen and then cut the content you need using editing software with Microsoft Paint or Adobe Photoshop.
Now you don’t need to go through all of this, you can just use the “Snipping Tool” included in Windows 7.
This tool allows you to select an area of the screen which you want to copy to your clipboard or to save as an image. A really useful tool and so easy to use.
To use the Snipping Tool in Windows 7 click on the Start Button, then All Programs, Accessories then Snipping Tool.
